Cruising on Mauretania


In 1931, Arthur and Kate Kahop boarded Cunard Line’s Mauretiania (1907) for a West Indies cruise. Let’s join them for a fine look at what it was like to sail on an ocean liner that was older than Titanic and a fleetmate of Lusitania.

For an excellent view of Mauretania underway, fast forward to the 3:50 mark (mind the soot). There’s  also a great view of her at anchor at the 4:26 mark.
