Over time, many cats became beloved crew members. Which brings us to the story of Duffy MacNab, mascot of Anchor Lines’ Caledonia (1905). Dubbed “King of Cats” and “The MacNab” by his human crew mates, Duffy logged an estimated 200,000 miles on Caledonia-including 80 transatlantic crossings-making him a very well traveled cat indeed.
