CTC Lines acquired ownership in 1995 and renamed the aging vessel Southern Cross. Thereafter she passed through the hands of a series of owners and was renamed several more times, the last being Ocean Dream.
The vessel also made appearances on “Columbo” and “Starsky and Hutch,”as well as in the movie “Herbie Goes Bananas.”
