Cunard Line celebrated its 175 Anniversary in New York on 14 July 2015. The day ended with a light show presented by Queen Mary 2 in front of the Statue of Liberty.
The audio in this video came from a shoreside restaurant where a private Cunard event was being held.
Trivia: QM2’s high-intensity lights were so bright that the show’s presenters were required to contact the control tower at John F. Kennedy International Airport, located several miles away, for clearance to the start the show.
