Amazingly, more than a half-century after unintentionally sending Andrea Doria to the ocean floor, Stockholm abides. Although much remodeled and frequently renamed, the former Swedish-American Line ocean liner (currently named Azores) now carries passengers on cruises to various desitinations. How much longer she will be able to continue in this role is anyone’s guess, but in eight decades of service she has proven herself to be a hearty survivor.
