Cunard Line’s Lusitania was torpedoed by a German U-boat on 7 May 1915. The liner sank in 18 minutes with a loss of 1,198 of the 1,959 people on board. The following images of Lusitania survivors are from the US Library of Congress’ Prints and Photographs Collection.
